Lilly with Alana!

This is Auntie Alana and also a great friend who we will miss soooo much as she is moving away at the end of the week. Alana can always make Lilly laugh or smile and it has been so nice to have Alana around over the last year, she means so much to all of us.

FUN!

Today we went over to Tracy's for food, friends and fun. We played all afternoon and early evening with Tracy, Jodi, Eric, Jamilee, Tim, Christine, Mark, Shawn, Alana, Alex, "expecting" Jen, Cooper, Bogie and Jaeger. Lilly laughed and was sure that everyone heard her "new" high-pitch scream that she is so proud to have discovered. This was also a huge day for Auntie Jodi as she learned how to use the text message feature on her cell phone.

Holy S-N-O-W!!!

As we all know, you can get get snow any time during the year in the Rocky Mountains. We accumulated nearly 8" today and I am not quite sure we were ready for it, but I guess we really didn't have a choice. Cooper sure enjoys it and dives in as deep as he can!

My Daddy Never Slows Down!

A high of 40 degrees doesn't stop this man. He worked away on the deck railing today while we watched and played with Cooper. Auntie Cinda, I love my rain slicker and it keeps me so warm during this crazy fall weather. It doesn't look to bad with my pink snow boots either!

Time for New Garage Doors

Ryan's project over the weekend included installing new garage doors and getting the garage ready for the winter. The 69 Mach 1 went to the body shop and this is the first time in 5 1/2 years that we've both been able to park in the garage, Wahoo!!!

Tummy Time!

Labor Day Sales

We headed out today thinking we were off to Breckenridge for the annual Labor Day Duck Race on Maggie Pond. This is a huge fundraiser that helps the non-profits in Summit County. Lilly decided she didn't want to go and was going to scream the entire way there. So we stopped half way there to see what the problem might be and maybe Lilly was hungry. Lilly ate and once she was back in her car seat the screaming started again. This is when we discovered that she loves having her window down and this made for a much calmer baby. We decided to go shopping at the outlet malls since they are closer to home. So I guess we'll have to watch the duck race next year.

A little under the weather

Today was the first time we've received the call from our daycare that Lilly had gotten sick and we needed to come pick her up. Ryan was able to go pick her up and his evaluation was that she was just fine. I came home shortly after 1:00 and sure enough she was just her normal self. Until......@ 8:30pm she showed us her "signs" of some sort of bug that was bothering her.
