The Blizzard Everyone's Talking About
I took the picture of Cooper's old dog house so you can see how much snow we've received in the last 12 hours. The fence in the picture is between our yard and our neighbors yard. This fence is in some need of repair as you can see. The two boards that have not ever been stained were put in place this summer as Cooper decided to chew thru the old boards and create his own entrance into the neighbors yard to play with their dog Molly.
The reason I took the picture of the house accross the street is because the guy decided to stand on his deck railing and shovel his roof. I could have gone accross the street and offered our handy roof "extension" snow removal thing that we use all the time, but instead decided to just watch and take a picture of him from the warm house.

Just The Girls!
Ryan is away on business, so Lilly and I are kicking up our feet and eating bon bons (ice cream really). The weather has been snowy and very COLD, but today there was sunshine, so we decided to bundle up and head out for a walk around the neighborhood. (Don't make fun of my sunglasses. Ryan calls them my "Jackie Kennedy's", they were all I could find and I wasn't strapping those little green suckers on my head.)

Six Months Old Today
Lilly's six-month child check was today and she is 15lbs 2oz, 25 1/4" tall and her head measures 42 1/2cm. The check-up went fastastic, but it was a surprise when the Dr. looked in her right ear and discovered she has an ear infection. In addition to vaccinations, Lilly also received her flu shot today. Lilly's on antibiotics for seven days and then back to the Dr. in a month for a booster and another look at her ear.
